H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), met with H.E. Kongratbay Sharipov, Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, on the margins of the 8th General Assembly of the Turkic Universities Union (TURKUNIB).

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the current and future cooperation in the field of education among the Turkic States and discussed the preparations for the upcoming Meeting of the Ministers of Education of the OTS Member States, which will be held on 10 November 2025 in Astana.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening educational integration within the Turkic World through flagship initiatives such as the Orhun Exchange Program and the Turkic Universities Union (TURKUNIB).
