The 4th Meeting of the Council of Prosecutors General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) was held under the theme of the Implementation of Modern Information and Communication Technologies in the Activity of Prosecution Authorities, and the Development of Digital Forensics on 25 September 2025 in Tashkent.
The Meeting was attended by H.E. Kamran Aliyev, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan, H.E. Berik Asylov, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Kazakhstan, H.E. Maksat Asanaliev, Prosecutor General of the Kyrgyz Republic, H.E. Muhsin Şentürk, Prosecutor General of the Supreme Court of Appeal of the Republic of Türkiye, H.E. Nigmatilla Yuldoshev, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as H.E. Amb. Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Secretary General of the OTS.
H.E. Amb. Kubanychbek Omuraliev addressed the Meeting and highly assessed the role of developing multilateral cooperation among the law enforcement bodies of the Turkic States, particularly the prosecution authorities, within the framework of the OTS.
Highlighting the importance of a common approach to modern threats, the Secretary General emphasized that while digital technologies and the expanding cyberspace offer opportunities for economic growth and social development, they also present serious risks by enabling cybercrime and cross-border criminal networks.
During the Meeting, the Parties exchanged views on common issues and challenges faced by the prosecution authorities and relevant institutions of the Turkic States and adopted the Declaration of the 4th Meeting of the Council of Prosecutors General of the OTS.
