OTS Secretary General attended Reception Marking the Day of Solidarity of Azerbaijanis Worldwide in Washington, D.C.

On 17 December 2025 in Washington, D.C., H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), participated in a reception hosted by the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the USA on the occasion of the Day of Solidarity of Azerbaijanis Worldwide. 

The event brought together representatives of the Azerbaijani community, the diplomatic corps, government and official institutions to mark a day symbolizing unity, cultural identity, and solidarity among Azerbaijanis around the world. 

As a specially invited guest, in his remarks at the reception, the Secretary General highlighted the Day of Solidarity as a strategic reminder of the unifying power of shared identity and values, emphasizing that cohesion among Turkic peoples is a force multiplier for regional cooperation. 

He underlined the pivotal role of diasporas as catalysts for connectivity, bridging cultures, economies, and institutions. Secretary General reaffirmed the OTS’s forward-looking commitment to deepening people-to-people engagement, amplifying collective voice, and translating solidarity into tangible, results-driven cooperation across the Turkic World.
