On 5 December 2025 in Baku, within the framework of the 1st Meeting of Ministers of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), H.E. Mr. Ali Asadov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan received the OTS Secretary General, H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev and the Heads of Delegation responsible for Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the OTS Member States and Observers.

During the Meeting, the Prime Minister of Azerbaijan emphasized the significance of the cooperation among the OTS countries, particularly in areas that directly impact the well-being of citizens.

The Secretary General of the OTS underlined that enhanced collaboration in labour, employment and social protection will play a central role in deepening regional integration. He stressed that thousands of citizens of OTS Member States work across the Turkic region, and ensuring their access to decent work, fair mobility arrangements and strong social protection mechanisms is a shared responsibility.
