On 28 April, 2025, the Deputy Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) Mr. Mirvokhid Azimov held a meeting with the delegation members of the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies (TSUOS) led by the Rector of the TSUOS Ms. Gulchehra Rikhsiyev at the premises of the OTS Secretariat in Istanbul.

Discussions focused on enhancing efficiency of the activity of the Turkic Universities Union (TURKUNIB) and implementing joint scientific projects and academic exchange programs.

Furthermore, the Parties discussed the scientific dimensions and aspects of the Tabarruk Ziyarat and the Turkic Silk Road tourism projects of OTS to widely promote them in the Turkic region and beyond.
