On 12 July 2025, General Meeting of the Union of Turkic Ski Resost (UTSR) convened in Shahdag, Azerbaijan with the participation of 4 founding members of the UTSR, namely  Shahdag (Azerbaijan), Shymbulak (Kazakhstan), Amirsoy (Uzbekistan), Uludağ (Türkiye) and the Secretariat of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).

The delegation of OTS Secretariat led by the Deputy Secretary General, Dr. Mirvokhid Azimov, participated in the meeting which was focused on several key initiatives, including the Common Ski Pass, Joint Promotional Campaigns, establishment of the Club of Ski Journalists under the UTSR as well as the expansion of the Union with the new 4 Members, namely Oi Qaraqay Mountain Resort from Kazakhstan, Tufandag Mountan Resort from Azerbaijan, Ejder 3200 World Ski Resort and Erciyes Mountain Resort from Türkiye.

During the meeting, it was determined to hold the Second Turkic Ski Cup at Uludağ Ski Resort and the Second Summit of the Union of Turkic Ski Resorts at Syhmbulak Mountain Resort in 2026.
