Within the framework of his visit to Tashkent on 25 September 2025, H.E. Amb. Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), met with Sheikh Nuriddin Haliknazarov, Chairman of the Religious Administration of Muslims of Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, the Parties exchanged views on the outcomes of the 6th Meeting of the Council of Heads of Muslim Religious Boards of the OTS, held on 11 September 2025 in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic.

The Parties reaffirmed their commitment to further developing and strengthening cooperation among the Muslim religious boards of the Turkic States.

Sheikh Haliknazarov also introduced the Center of Islamic Civilization in Tashkent and briefed the Secretary General on the ongoing progress of its developments.
