The Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev, received the Ambassador of Canada to Ankara, H.E. Kevin Hamilton, at the OTS Secretariat in Istanbul on 23 October 2025.

During the meeting, Secretary General Omuraliev and Ambassador Hamilton held a comprehensive discussion on the ongoing initiatives within the framework of the OTS, with particular emphasis on potential areas of cooperation between the OTS Member States and Canada in the fields of transportation, connectivity, environment and clean energy.

The two sides also exchanged views on developments in the region and globally, sharing perspectives on issues of mutual interest.
