H.E. Amb. Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) met with H.E. Ilkham Makhkamov, Minister of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the sidelines of the 8th Meeting of Minsters of Transport of the OTS held on 30 September 2025 in Almaty, Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Parties attached particular importance to deepening cooperation in the field of transport and establishing a sustainable, interconnected transport system among OTS Member States.

They discussed preparations for the International Forum on Multimodal Transport, which will be organized jointly with the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan and the Alliance of Logistics Centers and Cargo Carriers of the Turkic States in Tashkent on 12 November 2025.

During the meeting, the Parties reaffirmed their commitment to further enhancing and deepening multilateral cooperation among the transport authorities of the Turkic States.
