On 15 December 2025, the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev, met with H.E. Khazar Ibrahim, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the United States, representing the Chairpersonship-in-Office of the OTS in Washington, D.C.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on recent developments within the OTS region and reviewed ongoing initiatives under Azerbaijan’s Chairmanship. Particular attention was given to coordination efforts in Washington and to advancing the Organization’s priorities in engagement with U.S. institutions and policymakers.
