The Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), H.E. Kubanychbek Omuraliev, gave an exclusive interview to AZERTAC ahead of the 12th OTS Summit on October 7 in Gabala, Azerbaijan, under the theme “Regional Peace and Security.” He highlighted the Organization’s historic transformation since the 2021 Istanbul Summit, now coordinating 40+ areas from economy and transport to education, culture, and security. He also emphasized key initiatives and the symbolic importance of past summits, which reflect growing unity and international recognition. He also underlined that the upcoming Gabala Summit will provide a new impetus for integration, building on the vision of the Turkic World – 2040 and the OTS Strategy for 2022–2026.
