Within the framework of the 11th Meeting of the Official Foreign Policy Research Centers of the Organization of Turkic States, H.E. Hikmat Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan - Head of the Department of Foreign Policy Affairs of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan received the delegations from the Member States and Observers, as well as H.E. Ömer Kocaman, Deputy Secretary General of the OTS on 30 September 2025 in Baku.

During the meeting H.E. Hikmat Hajiyev, emphasized the importance of the further deepening the cooperation among the OTS countries and the increasing role of the OTS in the regional and global arena. He stressed the growing role of Azerbaijan in the Organization, which will assume the Chairmansip of the OTS after the 12th Summit of the OTS to be held on 6-7 October 2025 in Gabala, Azerbaijan.

Deputy Secretary General of the OTS, thanked for invaluable contribution and unwavering support of Azerbaijan in fostering cooperation within the OTS, and mentioned that 12th Summit of the OTS will further enhance and strengthen the cooperation among the OTS.
