The Business Council Preparatory Meeting held at the TOBB Headquarters was attended by TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, as well as Memmed Musayev, President of the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan; Kanat Tulemetov, Deputy Chairman of the Kazakhstan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, representing ATAMEKEN; President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic Marat Sharshekeev, TOBB Vice Chairman Faik Yavuz, and Ambassador Halil Akıncı, Secretary General of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States.

At the end of the meeting, the members of the Business Council signed a protocol on the establishment of working groups on the Institutionalization of the Private Sector, Arbitration, Development of Transportation and Customs Cooperation, and the Establishment of a Development Agency, and on the development of cooperation in the sectors of Agriculture and Livestock, Energy, Contracting, Tourism, Health, and Education.
