On 11 September 2025, the Members of the Council of Heads of Muslim Religious Boards of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), together with the OTS Secretary General, were received by H.E. Sadyr Japarov, President of the Kyrgyz Republic, in Bishkek.

During the meeting, President Japarov welcomed the delegations and underlined the crucial role of the Council in strengthening unity and solidarity among the Turkic States, as well as promoting Islamic values of peace, justice, and brotherhood. He emphasized Kyrgyzstan’s continued support for initiatives that contribute to regional cooperation and the well-being of the Turkic and Islamic world.

The Council Members, in turn, expressed their sincere gratitude to President Japarov for his support and hospitality. They highlighted the importance of his leadership and encouragement in advancing the Council’s mission and fostering closer ties among the religious institutions of the OTS Member States.

The meeting took place ahead of the 6th Meeting of the Council of Heads of Muslim Religious Boards of the OTS, convened on the same day in Bishkek.
