On 18 September 2025, H.E. Sadyr Zhaparov, President of the Kyrgyz Republic, received H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), along with the Heads of Government and the Vice President of the OTS Member States, in the framework of the 1st Meeting of the Heads of Government and Vice-President of the OTS, hosted in Bishkek. The meeting took place on the eve of the inaugural gathering.

During the exchange, Secretary General Omuraliev underlined that this new platform would serve as an important mechanism to consolidate multilateral cooperation, strengthen unity and solidarity in the Turkic World, and advance key regional projects in areas such as trade, economy, investment, transport, energy, and agriculture. The discussions also addressed the broader prospects of enhancing cooperation within the OTS and deepening regional integration among the Member States.

The meeting reaffirmed the shared commitment of the OTS Member States to further strengthen cooperation under the Chairmanship of the Kyrgyz Republic and to continue advancing the goals of the Organization.
