On 23 August 2025, the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev met with H.E. Zheenbek Kulubaev, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic in Bishkek.

The discussions centered on the current Chairmanship of the Kyrgyz Republic in the OTS, with a comprehensive review of the progress made in the implementation of events and initiatives within this framework.

Special emphasis was also placed on the preparations for the upcoming 12th Summit of the OTS, to be convened on 6-7 October 2025 in Azerbaijan.
