Deputy Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States attended the 15th Anniversary Ceremony of the Turkic Academy

On 18 November 2025, Deputy Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), Merey Mukazhan, participated in the 15th Anniversary Ceremony of the Turkic Academy held in Ankara.

In his address, Merey Mukazhan highlighted the Academy’s key role over the past fifteen years in advancing research on the shared history, language, and cultural heritage of the Turkic World. He emphasized that the Academy, together with TÜRKSOY, TURKPA, the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, the Turkic Investment Fund, and the Turkic Chamber of Commerce and Industry, significantly contributes to realizing the vision of a more integrated and dynamic Turkic World.

He underlined the importance of education and scientific cooperation as core elements of the Turkic World Vision-2040 and welcomed the adoption of the Common Turkic Alphabet, which he noted would strengthen mutual understanding and cultural unity.

He expressed appreciation to the Academy’s able team and sister institutions for their continued collaboration and conveyed his best wishes for the Academy’s future work.

The ceremony also featured protocol remarks, presentation, panel session and exhibition dedicated to the Academy’s fifteen-year journey.
