International Conference on the topic: “Educational Activities of the Jadids: ideas, goals, tasks and their Contribution to the Development of Turkestan” held in Tashkent on March 6-7, 2023.
The Conference was organized by the Uzbek Government in cooperation with the Organization of Turkic States, TURKSOY, Turkic Academy, Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation in line with the Chairmanship Concept of Uzbekistan in OTS and within the “Year of the Rise of Turkic Civilization”.
At the outset of the conference, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan H.E. Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent a congratulatory message, which was delivered to the participants by the President’s Adviser H.E. Khayriddin Sultanov. The President expressed his gratitude to the leaders and representatives of the Turkic Cooperation Organizations for their assistance in organizing this event.
The opening ceremony of the Conference was addressed by OTS Deputy Secretary General Mr. Mirvokhid Azimov, President of the Turkic Academy H.E. Shahin Mustafayev, TURKSOY Deputy Secretary General Mr. Bilal Cakici and Project Director of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation Mr. Mirbek Karabayev. 
During the Conference the participants stressed that such events would create a good ground for joint implementation of scientific projects by academics and young scientists of the Turkic countries, encourage the young generation to build their lives on the basis of science and education, and to bring them true history, as well as serve to further strengthen fraternal ties among the Turkic peoples. 
The Conference was attended by more than 120 leading international experts and scholars from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Uzbekistan and other countries.
