Secretariat of OTS organized an online meeting for discussing the drafts of the Turkic Green Finance Council (TGFC) concept, its statute and the relevant declaration on 29 May 2023.
The establishment of the Turkic Council on Green Finance was proposed by H.E. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the President of Kazakhstan at the 9th OTS Summit in Samarkand on 11 November 2022.
During the second meeting of representatives of financial institutions and regulatory bodies of the OTS held online the sides exchanged their views and proposals on the draft documents. The Parties agreed to hold another meeting in the second half of June 2023 to finalize them and prepare for adoption at an offline meeting of the respective bodies of the Member and Observer States.
