The Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev chaired the 3rd meeting of the Coordination Committee of the Turkic Cooperation Organizations on 20 January 2023 at the premises of the OTS in Istanbul.
At the opening speech the OTS Secretary General Ambassador Omuraliev expressed gratitude to the heads of Turkic Cooperation Organizations for their valuable contributions in the development of the Turkic World and wished them success for coming year.
During the meeting, Heads of Turkic Cooperation Organizations presented their annual activity reports, adopted the Action Plan for 2023, and voiced their proposals on enhancing the inter-organizational coordination.
The Heads of Turkic Cooperation Organizations also shared their views on ensuring improved coordination between the OTS and the related and affiliated organizations of the Turkic cooperation as instructed by the Heads of State at the Samarkand Summit.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Mehmet Süreyya Er, the Secretary General of TURKPA, Mr. Sultanbai Raev, the Secretary General of TÜRKSOY, Mr. Shahin Mustafayev, the President of Turkic Academy, and Ms. Gunay Afandiyeva, the President of Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation.
